Welcome to the SRLGA Ladies 18-Hole Wednesday Morning League

18 Holers:  $50 league fee, $10 ringers (cash game)

OPENING DAY:  May 14

Practice rounds:  April 2 - May 7

Play for the 18-hole league will be weekly on Wednesdays, typically with a shot-gun start.  Games each week will be determined by the League Chair and all qualified players must have an established handicap.   The maximum allowable handicap for scoring is 36.

Each week will be a predetermined game, i.e., low-gross/low-net, par 4’s, par 3’s and 5’s, etc. The winner each week will be determined by low gross, low net (1st, 2nd and 3rd place). Low net overall score will be monitored each week for Player of the Month. Points will be awarded for each mentioned winner. (5 pts. - 1st place, 3 pts. - 2nd place, 1 pt. - 3rd place). All participants will be awarded 1 point for playing. Points awarded each week are accumulated and totaled at the end of the season for payout at the end of year meeting.

Participation points will only be awarded to those completing the round.  Players of the Month will compete at the end of the season for Player of the Year. Drop zones for Holes #5 and #6 are allowed after one failed attempt to cross the penalty areas.  Birdies and Ringers are to be recorded on League Day only.

We will be using max scoring per USGA guidance.  Handicap strokes will be based on a 36-handicap index.  There is no handicap limit on participation in the league.

All scores for League Play must be posted to the handicap system for the player to qualify. Prize money will be awarded at the end of the season to each qualified player in club credit.  Prize money is not only based on points, but also on each birdie, best overall Ringer score, Most Improved Player, and most points overall!

Please download the Golf Genius app for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Phone for live scoring and leaderboards.  We will be using the Golf Genius app for our scoring this year.  Each Wednesday you will get a socrecard with a GGID number that can be entered in the app to access the live scoring.  If you are unable to use the live scoring your league leader can upload your score after play.  By using the Golf Genius app during play you help our league leaders with managing league play.  Your league leaders will be keeping track of scoring over the year to enable the distribution of prizes at the end of the season.  Please help them by keeping score in golf genius.
